A Tour of my Vanity + Organization Tips

Every morning, this vanity becomes my personal sanctuary. It's where the "calm before the storm" takes place - my glam teams comes in, works their magic, and then I get on with whatever craziness the day has planned for me. Those first few minutes of the day, when I'm peacefully going about my morning makeup ritual, are moments of complete tranquility. It lets me find the peace of mind for the rest of the day. 

Today, I'm welcoming you to this special space of mine. I'll tour you around, and give you tips for keeping your vanity area organized too. 

TIP #1: Recently, I placed all my daily makeup products, my everyday go-to's, in one area of my vanity. Putting them in one place has been such a practical solution for me - it has trimmed down a few minutes off of my daily makeup routine. 

TIP #2: It's hard to keep my lipstick collection under control, because aside from being a lipstick junkie, I have my own line of lip products. I've found that the best way is to arrange them is through acrylic containers like the ones shown above, which keep each lip product upright and separated from one another.

TIP #3: Catchall trays are an easy way to add personality to a space, plus, they're so functional! You can put the things that you're constantly reaching for on a catchall tray, like this months' favorite lipstick shades. 

TIP #4: Use clear, acrylic, or lucite holders. Transparent homeware not only make your space feel bigger, but it also adds to that luxurious feel. 

FINAL TIP: I believe every woman deserves "me time," and a well-organised vanity is a good place to start. When organizing your vanity, keep in mind your need for "me time," and mold a personal space around that.
