Behind the Scenes: Getting Ready for the Chanel High Jewelry Gala 2020
By now you should know that Chanel has always been and will always be one of my favorite brands. Another thing you also probably know by now is that I take jewelry very seriously--so when two of the things I love come together for a night of glamour, it’s heaven for a girl like me!
The Chanel High Jewelry Gala show was everything I expected and more! I can’t get over how they were able to incorporate Chanel’s signature tweed designs into such exquisite pieces of jewelry! If you could only see my reaction the whole time--I was dumbfounded the entire night! Here’s what I wore , along with a couple of fun behind-the-scenes pics.
For this look, Jecka decided that a half ponytail would be perfect! I definitely agree — so grateful to have you around, Jeck! Btw, yup that’s coffee in my mug. It’s a pre-show ritual.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate this masterpiece by my dear friend Mark Bumgarner who never fails to make me feel like a princess! I still can’t get over that pink bow — such a dainty touch!
For tonight’s jewels, I decided that this Royal Gem diamond necklace would be the perfect elegant finish!
